With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia Walkowsky of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Virginia left this world on December 20, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Mlinar and Ann Mlinar (Kamerosky); her husband John J. Walkowsky; her daughter Kathleen; her sister Joan Orosz; and her godmother Mary Lacko.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard (Mona), Theresa Oreskovich, Francine Haynal, Leonard (Carol), Janice Petak, Patricia Heilmann, Kevin Collins and Rebecca Mains (Daniel); her sister Judy Sierocky (John); and her goddaughter Gina Graffius (Orosz). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (324 Chestnut St, Johnstown, PA 15906).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joyce Murtha Breast Cancer Center in memory of Virginia Walkowsky.
