She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. Sr. Thompson and Irene B. Thompson (Strayer); and her in-laws, Nevin "Bud", Betty Lehman, Sonny Kidwiler and James Lusczek Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Tom Lehman; her children, Melissa S. Volkman (Robert) of Bensalem, PA and Joshua A. Spishak (Lindsey) of Stephens City, VA; her grandchildren, Preston, Brayden, Jackson and Cassidy; her siblings, Brenda Varnish, James Thompson Jr. (Carolyn), Diane Gvozdich (George), Ronald Thompson (Darla), David Thompson (Denise) and Scott Thompson (Teresa); her in-laws, Pat Kidwiler, Linda Lusczek, Bob Lehman (Stephanie), James Lehman (Joyce) and Pam Yanosky (Tim); and her pet Zoey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests contributions be directed to Humane Society of Somerset County, 204 Whitetail Rd, Somerset, PA 15501 in memory of Susan.
