She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Sanders and Lillie Sanders (Borders); her former husband Joseph Samuels; her husband Walter Reed; her children, Michael Samuels and Teresa Price; her grandson Robert Samuels II; and her siblings, Mary, Marva, Lillie, Charles, John, Melvin, Curtis, Ernest and Calvin.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Samuels, Jr. (Sabrina), Robert Samuels (Brenda), Maureen Samuels, MD and Debra Samuels, MD; her grandchildren, Thomas Williams (Swiyyah), Joseph Samuels III and Angelica Samuels; her great grandchildren, Kennedi, Logan, Cruz, Chase, Noah, Genesis, Addison and Carson; her brother Louis Sanders (Bettie); and her sister-in-law Lillie Sanders. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stephens Memorial Church (314 William Penn Ave, Johnstown, PA 15901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
