He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shauley and Julia Shauley; and his brother Nick. He is survived by: his children, Robert R. Shauley (Brandi Huff), Joshua M. Shauley (Brianne Fockler), Jason Knipple and Jeanette Adamy; and his sisters, Claire, Carol and Tonya. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
