He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Berkebile and Lizzie Berkebile (Miller); his wife Esther; and his siblings, Clyde (Dorothy Hoffman), Sara (Todd Hewitt), Margaret (Kermit Wingard), Jay (Mildred Weaver), John (Ora Jean Hoffman), Frank (Sarah Johnson) and Glenn (Beverly Coulter).
He is survived by: his children, Glenda (Greg Powell) of Hollsopple, Jeff Berkebile (Janet Malec) of Johnstown and Terry Berkebile (Barbara Dill) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Tracey (Jason Lichon), Matt Berkebile (Amanda), Tessa (Brian Schmitt) and Nicole Berkebile (Blake Eckenrod); and his great grandchildren, Shannon Renee Lichon, Valen Marie Berkebile, Ella Jane Berkebile, Hudson Schmitt and Landon Schmitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
