She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Vavrek and Marion Vavrek (Goetz); and her son Brian M. Smith. She is survived by: her sisters, Carol LaRocca (Joseph), Judith Sasarak (Ronald), Elaine LaRocca (Gregory) and Missy Vavrek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Gaulbert Cathedral (117 Clinton St, Johnstown, PA 15901). A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
