Patricia G. Mauk Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia G. Mauk (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Furlong and Lois E. Furlong (Schwartzentruver); her husband Donald Mauk; her daughter Tara Mauk-Barnes; and her brother Gary Furlong.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Polly Furlong; and her niece April Furlong-Thomas. She is also survived by her students, friends and family.
