Nellie V. Skubak Obituary
The passing of Nellie V. Skubak of Johnstown, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 95. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Twardziak and Antonia Twardziak (Garvacka); her husband John F. Skubak; her siblings, Walter, Stanley, Anthony, Robert Twardziak, Marie McDonald, Jessie Tokar, Ann Milano, Lottie Moran, Blanche Varmecky and Dorthy Porada; and her grandmother Nellie.
She is survived by: her children, John Skubak, Bernard Skubak (Kathy), James Skubak (Michele), Janet Hammett (Pat), Richard Skubak (Mary), Susan Day (George), Dennis Skubak and Daniel Skubak (Stacey). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
