Maryann Carol Masoryak Obituary
We bid farewell to Maryann Carol Masoryak (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Maryann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Simunich and Anna Mae Simunich (Unisko); her husband Joseph R. Masoryak Sr.; her daughters, Anna Marie, Barbara Ann and Cynthia Ann; her siblings, Catherine Haebich (Buchan), Francis Santichen and Thomas Simunich; and her sister-in-law Paulett Simunich.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Raymond Jr. (Jamie Varnish) and Stacy Lynn (Alan Martin); her sister Anna Marie (Raymond Mowery); her friend Bernice Wagner; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Madison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bennett Mortuary. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary (921 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Maryann's memory.
