She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Thomas Smith and Doris Smith (Evans); her husband Rodney B. Smith (Haselrig); her former husband Havert King (Tojo); and her children, Yolanda May King, Dorothy Edwards (King) and Robert F. King.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard F. Smith, Wilson Lee Smith, Bishop Robert E. Smith, Marie Martin, Carrie Black and Francine Pridgen; her grandchild Thomas King; her sisters, Abdul Wright and Judea Thomas; her grandson-in-law Andre Hinton, Sr. (Mary Alice); her children, Nancy Williams (Deacon Leonard Williams), Valery King of Lorain, OH, Havert King, Jr., Thomas A. King and Darrell King (Amy King); her siblings, Thomas S. Smith of Johnstown, David Smith (Bay) of Johnstown, Lonnie Bush of Johnstown, Lacy E. Smith of Newberry, TX and Yvonne Roebuck; her close friends, Bessie (late Otis Simpson) and Arlene Neural; and her godson Reggie Dean. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A reception was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary (921 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
