It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark R. Bates (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Bates and Audrey June Bates (Thompson). He is survived by: his sister M'Liss (Mike Pearrow); his nephew Jack of Pittsburgh; his aunt LaRue Lawson (Richland Twp); and his close friend Destiny Boring. He is also survived by several cousins, and many friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
