With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie M. Shander of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie M. Shander to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Pavlosky and Anna A. Pavlosky (Surgenic); her husband Joseph Shander; her daughters, Cathie Brouse (David) and JeanAnn Havrilla; and her brothers, Stephen, Carl, Joseph, Robert and Edward Pavlosky.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Shander Jr. (Shannon), Jackie Staller (Joe), Stephen Shander (Kelsey), Chris Havrilla (Kim) and Justin Havrilla (Trish); her sisters, Elizabeth Dukery (Betty) and AnnaMae Mettrick; and her son-in-law David Havrilla. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (120 Barron Ave, Johnstown, PA 15906).
