She was predeceased by: her parents, Delphin Dempsey and Anna Marie (Schiffauer); and her brother Robert Dempsey (Donald Figura). She is survived by: her family, Brenda Burtnett (Kevin), Beth Molnar (Joe), Michele Dyer (Dan) and Dawn Stephens (Chaz); her grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Luke (Erin), Jenna (Chase), Maggie (Reese), Daniel, Madison, Paige and Allyana (Dylan); her sisters-in-law, Carole Dempsey and Carol Rebar (Bert); and her pet Chloe. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (415 Tioga St, Johnstown, PA 15905).

In lieu of flowers and food, donations can be made to Bishop McCort Catholic High School for the Donald and Madeline Figura Athletic Scholarship Fund.
