It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lawrence Tursic (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 85, on December 31, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Tursic and Anna Tursic (Karan); his siblings, Ronald J., Dorothy Fink (Ben), Elizabeth "Betty" Skedel (Louis Jr.) and Marie Kotar (Ed); and his brother-in-law Alfred S. Turjan.
He is survived by: his nephew Ben Fink Jr.; and his sisters, Janet Turjan of Johnstown and Margaret Pipan (Stephen) of Johnstown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gregory Catholic Church (120 Boltz St, Johnstown, PA 15902). A committal service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saints Gregory and Barnabas Parish in memory of Ed Tursic.
