Laverne is survived by: parent Bertha Volk (Eash); husband William "Bill" Stevens; daughter Karen Frederick Combis; grandsons, William "Bill" Frederick (Tara) of Chesapeake, VA and Bryan Frederick (Krystyne) of Brunswick, ME; great grandchildren, Ryan Frederick (Naome) and Bradley Frederick of Virginia Beach, VA; and sister Gertrude Hoffman of Bedford.
