In loving memory of June V. Mitchell of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 91. June leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Brehm; her grandparents, William and Florence Edmiston; her husband Walter F. Mitchell, Sr.; her grandson Garrett Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Dawn (King); and her siblings, Janet Blough, Donna Witkovskie, Forrest, Kenneth, David and Larry Brehm.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia A. (Charles E. Groff, Sr.) of Markleton, PA, Walter F., Jr. and Tina Traficante of Everett, PA.; her grandchildren, Charles Groff, Jr. (Laura) of Confluence, PA, Kristen Groff of Columbus, OH, Holly Bennett (Brian) of Kalispell, MT, Samantha Mitchell of Pittsburgh, PA and Nathan Mitchell (Rachael) of Shippensburg, PA.; her great grandchildren, Emily, Benjamin, Aron of Confluence, PA, Karley, Parker of Columbus, OH, Rost of Kalispell, MT and Luca of Grove City, PA.; and her sister-in-law Laura Brehm. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Arbutus or St. Jude's. The family would like to thank all staff at Arbutus Park Retirement Community.
