She was predeceased by: her parents, John Szewczyk and Catherine (Kolcun); her sister Dorothy Heben; and her children, Joseph Bachani (Peggy) of Arizona, Robert Bachani (Mary Alice) of Arizona and Karen Martin (James) of West Virginia.
She is survived by: her sister Gloria Mikolic of Woodvale; her grandchildren, Sean, Sara Jo, Katie and Melissa; and her close friends, Mary Ann Knaze and Frances Servacek.
In lieu of flowers, Josephine requested that donations be made in her name to Saint John's Gualbert Cathedral.
