He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pohlit and Mary Ellen Pohlit (Yost). He is survived by: his wife Eva Pohlit (McNiven); his daughters, Patricia Ann Pohlit and Debbie Patterson; his grandchildren, William C. Dill, Megan Patterson and Catherine Pohlit; and his son-in-law Harry Dill.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's memory to Windber Hospice.
