With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hector Sanchez of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, born in Premont, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Servando Sanchez and Margaret Sanchez (Hinajosa); his wife Ruth (Ramos); and his siblings, Felix, Lorenzo, Juan, Pablo, Fernando, Andy, George, Susie and Oralia.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Sanchez, Meketa and Thomas Hector (Beth); his grandchildren, Michael G. Meketa (Sarah), Maria G. Sanchez and Matthew J. Sanchez (Brianna); and his siblings-in-law, Anita Villarreal, Evelyn Yurkovich and Tom Ramos (Toni Marie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
