Gerard Anthony Campagna Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Anthony Campagna (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Campagna and Frances Campagna (Yurkovich); and his father-in-law Jerry Paul Gawel. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ann Campagna (Gawel); his daughter Marianna Elizabeth (Drew John Golias); his grandson Mason Michael Golias; his brothers, Michael (Brenda) and Anthony (Patricia); his mother-in-law Shirley Gawel; his brothers-in-law, Eric Gawel (Christine) and Mark Gawel (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Anthony Campagna (Laura), Christopher Campagna (Brittany), Conner Gawel, Matthew Gawel, Monica Cooney (Kyle), Jennifer Sudia (Michael), Chloe Gawel and Elizabeth Gawel; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Neil, Leo, Dominic, Adrian, Gianna, Blair, Chiara, Faustina and Anna; and his friend Lucky.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home (215 Central Ave, Johnstown, PA 15902). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (415 Tioga St, Johnstown, PA 15905).
In lieu of flowers, the family knows Jerry would rather donations be made that can be distributed to Our Mother of Sorrows and St. Theresas Parishes causes, where he faithfully practiced his Catholic beliefs, and they could be used accordingly with his generous and charitable heart.
