He was predeceased by: his wife Alma Leventry; his parents, Harry Decker Barefoot and Elizabeth Barefoot (Beckley); his sisters, Margaret Blackburn (Barefoot), Ruthanna Carson (Barefoot) and Lucille Barefoot; and his children-in-law, Joseph Shaughnessy and Trudy Barefoot (Weyant).
He is survived by: his children, Gail Shaughnessy (Barefoot), Judy (Barefoot), Connelly (Chip), Thomas Fred Barefoot (Julie) and Rick Barefoot (Tina); and his grandson Drew Barefoot.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc. (3779 Pitt St, Schellsburg, PA 15559). Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
