Edna Mae Poley Obituary
Edna Mae Poley, 75 (Carrier) peacefully passed away at 05:05 Friday, May 24, 2024, at Maple Heights Health & Rehab Center, Ebensburg. Edna Mae was born July 11, 1948. in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She is survived by: Leo Poley, 81 (Nanty Glo), her loving husband of 48 years; brothers Robert and John (Butch) Carrier and his wife Nancy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edna is preceded in death by father, John Carrier and mother, Emily (Mock) Carrier; brothers Donald and Glenn Carrier; sisters Patricia Maris, Phyllis Miles, LaVerne Watts and Marcia Jean Sears. Edna retired from Ebensburg State School after 35 years of lovingly caring for "her kids". Edna, a member of Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church in Revloc, passionately loved and served the Lord — giving generously of her time, talents, and resources. Edna's passions included gospel and country music, crocheting, crafting, bingo, and any opportunity for fun. Cherished "Aunt Mae" is dearly loved and fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.
