It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel C. Hutchison (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Daniel may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hutchison and Genevieve Hutchison (Rhoades); and his sister Genevieve Constable. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hutchison (Janisko) of Johnstown; his children, Eve Mikolich (Brian) of Johnstown and Floyd Hutchison (Eric Glassman) of Rochester, NY; and his grandsons, Karl, Joshua, Benjamin and Tyler Schmidtetter (Rayanne). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (536 Decker Ave, Johnstown, PA 15906).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Therese Church Building Fund in memory of Daniel Hutchison.
