She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence S. Bowman and Kathryn Walker Bowman; her husband Thomas A. Young; her granddaughter Megan E. Barron; and her brother-in-law Garrett "Gary" C. Hatch.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ward (J. Patrick) of Coral Springs, FL, Carolyn Strunk (Donald), Susan Will (Dean), Thomas B. Young and John Young (Stephanie Sedor); her grandchildren, Christine "Christy" Timmins (Carrie), Laura Ploszay (Stephen), Kayla Wirfel (Jon), Jason Barron, Susan Strunk (Mark Liberto), Kaitlyn "Kay" Will, Abigail "Abbie" Young (Justin Bezek) and Benjamin "Ben" Young (Taylor Hritz); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ty, Cooper Wirfel, Harper, Landon Ploszay, James and Ethan Timmins; her sister Kathryn "Kathy" Hatch of Cary, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Heather Rogers (Chris) of Cary, NC, Garrett Hatch-Graham (John) of Wilmington, NC, Kathryn, Joshua and Courtney Rogers.
