It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Freiwald (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Freiwald (Englehart) and William Rosenbaum. He is survived by: his wife Becky (Deist); his daughters, Christa Newton (Gerry), Mandi Cutler (Curt), Beth DiGuardi (Sam) and Lindsay Rypczyk (A. J.); his grandchildren, Addy, Makayla, Bria, Rylee, Zoe, Drew, Elliott, Rosalyn, Lena and Ryan; and his siblings, Jim (Barbara Saia), Bill (Sara Hoyland) and Joyce Freiwald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clement Church (114 Lindberg Ave, Johnstown, PA 15905).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Clement Pavilion Fund.
