He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burkett and Patricia Faith (Blough). He is survived by: his wife Barb Burkett (Wissinger); his close friend Zachary Conzatti; his stepdaughter Heather Lynn; his siblings, Tammy, Daryl, Wendy, Doug, Bob, Kevin, Michelle and Brad; and his brother-in-law Ken (Brian). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donations may be made to Brian's family to be put into an education fund for his grandson, Zachary.
