He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Atkins and Betty Atkins (Tucker). He is survived by: his wife Denese (Brandle); his daughter Heather Kaufman (Atkins); his son-in-law Keith; his grandson Wes; and his brother Tom Atkins (Rose).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Windber Hospice.
