It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernadine Brennsteiner of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, born in Masontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Blout and Stella Blout (Kolasa); her stepmother Ann Zamiska Blout (Ernest Sr.); and her grandson Kenneth Hrapchak. She is survived by: her children, Ernest Jr. "Ernie" (Patricia), James (Elin), Stephanie Mical (Jim) and Amy Marsh (Leo); her grandchildren, Alex, Aaron (Tania), Daniel, Leah, Julia Brennsteiner, Kaitlin White (Rod), James, Nicholas Mical and Mitchell Hrapchak (Maddy); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Lucia and Freya Brennsteiner; her siblings, Joseph "Stush" Blout, Father Daniel Blout, Charlotte Pisula and Bernadette "Bernie" Sloan; and her close friends, Betty and Ron. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson East Hills, Inc. (2503 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (2310 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15904).
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Bernadine's memory.
