She was predeceased by: her parents, John Skunta and Suzanna Skunta (Kucherka); her husband Francis Komara; her son Karl Komara; and her siblings, Helen Burgraff, Joanne "Jen" Sestrich, Florence Visovsky, Phyllis Skunta, John Skunta and Cyril Skunta.
She is survived by: her sons, Franklin Komara (Cecile) of Kissimmee, Kenneth Komara (Nancy) of Kissimmee and Joseph Komara of Johnstown; her grandchildren, Michele, Meghan and Lydia; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Komara. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
