He was predeceased by: his parents, Americo Ruiz and Gregoria Velazquez. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Ruiz, Abraham Ruiz, Juan Ruiz and Gina Ruiz; and his sister Maria Ruiz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
