He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest X. Maiers and Louise Maiers (Schiemer); his wife Mary Ann (McCandless); his daughter Patricia; and his sisters, Dorothy Divany, Helen Davies and Mae Pretak.
He is survived by: his son William E. Maiers (Ann) of Johnsonburg; his granddaughters, Julie Bickford and Jessica Ezop (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Zaviera, Zekiel Bickford, Landon and Aiden Ezop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
