He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jacobs and Katherine Steger Jacobs; his wife Patricia L. "Pat" Swedenjelm; his granddaughters, Cathy Duttry, Niki and Tera Jacobs; and his brother Earl Jacobs.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard J. Jacobs (Lori) of Johnsonburg and Tom Jacobs (Kelle) of Johnsonburg; his grandchildren, Steve Jacobs, Jeff Jacobs, Kara Jacobs and Krista Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Madison, Wyatt Duttry and Aislin Jacobs; his stepgranddaughter Rebecca Williams; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Joey and Austin Vacvarella; and his brother William "Bill" Jacobs of Ridgway. He is also survived by his wife and kids and grandchildren, and playing cards with his friends.
