With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Elmquist (Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania), born in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Mae Bedford and David Franklin Overbeck; her husband William Harris "Herk" Elmquist; her daughter Karen Polaski; her children-in-law, Charles Polaski and Deborah Elmquist; and her siblings, David, George, Louis, Russell, Bernard Overbeck, Elsie Denslow, Bessie Burch and Ethel Pope.
She is survived by: her children, William Elmquist (Sonya), Philip Elmquist (Barbara), Joel Elmquist (Cindy), Dale Elmquist (Linda), Mark Elmquist (Debbie) and Forrest Elmquist (Bridget); and her sisters-in-law, Delores Overbeck of Jamestown and Clarice Overbeck of New Port Richey. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
