Louis J. Johnston Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2020, at the age of 86, Louis J. Johnston (Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Rufus" and Margaret A. Pendl Johnston; his siblings, Harry "Buddy" Johnston, Shirley Johnston and Louise Baumgratz; and his brother-in-law Ivan Baumgratz.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Johnston of Johnsonburg; his nieces, Laura Graves of Dallas, TX and Mary Christine Baumgratz of Ft. Worth, TX; his nephew John Baumgratz (Kathy) of Dallas, TX; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra Graves, Forrest Graves, Katie Lightfoot (Jordan), Raymond, Joseph, Angela Rose, Heather Anne Baumgratz and Emily Williams (Jacob). He is also survived by two great-great-nieces and one great-great-nephew; and numerous cousins.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 606 Penn Street, Johnsonburg, PA 15845.
