He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Farr, Sr. and May Walker Farr; his wife Nancy L. Raymondo; and his siblings, Joseph Farr, Jr., Arthur T. Farr and Gertrude Simbeck.
He is survived by: his children, George Farr, Jr. (Mandey) of Beloit, WI and Cheryl Ann Shembeda of Olean, NY. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
