He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dean Vanatta and Alice Smith Vanatta; his wife Patricia Rose Cheatle; his great grandchildren, Derek Maruncyz and Dakota Mackie; his grandchildren, Matthew (Ally), Nicholas (Beth), Michael (Justice), Timothy Rusciolelli, David III, Alayna, Isaac, Cheyanne, Aubrey Vanatta, Zabrina, Addison Snyder, Ariyana Vanatta, Joe, Therese, Antonio Guido, Hunter Samick, Gavin O'Donnell, Oberon, Finn Rusciolelli and Jaymon Rusciolelli; his siblings, Nancy Galford, Judy Rettger (Dave), Peg Mertz and Jim Vanatta; his sister-in-law Linda Vanatta; his close friend Wilfred Hanes; his parents-in-law, Mary and Ed Cheatle; his brothers, Dean and Michael Vanatta; and his siblings-in-law, Ella Brown, Mary Vanatta, Ellen Vanatta and Paul Galford. He was also cherished by numerous other brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
