She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Sonney and Flora Sonney (Beers); and her husband Allen P. Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Anderson of Erie, PA and Jon C. Anderson (Ellie) of Oneida, NY; her brothers, Michael Sonney (Sharyn) of Natrona Heights, PA and Kermit Sonney (Pam); her grandsons, Andy Anderson (Grace) and Austin Anderson; and her adoptive daughter Ann Gadley.
Bertha was also actively involved in her community, volunteering and regularly donating blood to the American Red Cross.
