Nancy F. Getz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy F. Getz of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, born in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Getz; her parents, Henry Weaver and Dorothy Weaver (Rehrig); and her siblings, Henry Weaver, Norwood Weaver and Doris Schenkenberger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dorinda Getz of Jim Thorpe and Sandra Searfoss (Jeffrey) of Jim Thorpe; her grandsons, Matthew Searfoss (Samantha) and Joseph Searfoss; her great grandchildren, Layla, Lyric, Aria, Madelyn, Mason and Annabella; and her sister Mary Arner (Robert) of Lehighton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad Street, Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
