She was predeceased by: her spouse Arthur A. J. Spitzer; her parents, Herman Silberfeld and Frances Silberfeld (Diamond); her son Jeffrey August; and her brother Phillip Silberfeld.

She is survived by: her grandson Justin A. Carlucci of Lehighton; and her children, Rhonda S. (Robert M. Kolnik) of Lehighton and Brian August (Beth Weller) of Brooklyn.
