He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rafter and Juila Rafter (Hyland); his brothers, Joseph (Robert) and Gerald (Jerry); his nephew Patrick Rafter; his parents-in-law, Mary Rossi and Leonard Rossi Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Rossi Jr. and Joseph Sebastianelli.
He is survived by: his grandson K. C. Rafter; his brother Jack P. Rafter; his niece Kelly Ann Williams (Ryan); his nephew Michael Rafter; his sister-in-law Frances Rafter; his nieces, Karen of Scranton and Frances Rafter of Scranton; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Rossi and Elaine Sebastianelli.
