He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Arnold of Montrose, PA, Laurie Norwood (James) of Sydney, IL, Wendy Stone of Tunkhannock, PA and William Oakes (Jan) of Stevens, PA; his son-in-law Donald Herman of Lawton, PA; his stepdaughters, Sarah Brown (Ronald) of Montgomery, TX and Gail Benio of Brackney, PA; his siblings, Doris Lewis of Montrose, PA, Kathy Andre (Joe) of Montrose, PA, Louis Oakes (Phyllis) of Montrose, PA and Keith Oakes (Ginny); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Oakes of Montrose, PA and Virginia Oakes of Hershey, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
