He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vitiello and Margaret Vitiello (Motts); and his siblings, Ralph, Sam, Paul, Mary Trently and Margaret Golden.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Sweeney of Jessup; his girlfriend's children, Robert Sweeney Sr. of Eynon, Tina Kakareka (Dave) of Elmhurst and Tami Dougherty (James) of Eynon; his grandchildren, Robert Sweeney Jr. (Allison), Courtney, Christian Sweeney, Christopher, Michael Kakareka, Kristen and James Dougherty Jr. (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Roman Louis Sweeney, Elena, Bella, Emanuel and Lilith Davila; and his sisters, Angie Daley of Archbald and Violet Dolhon of Exeter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrison Funeral Home (374 Main St, Archbald, PA 18403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Funeral Harrison Funeral Home (374 Main St, Archbald, PA 18403). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (411 Church St, Archbald, PA 18403).
