He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Guziewicz and Helen Steger Guzevich; his godson Scott Kubic; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Carr and Richard Evans.

He is survived by: his son Joseph Jude Guziewicz; his sister Marilyn Kubic (Richard); his grandchildren, Emily, Lilyanna and Abigail; and his in-laws, Russell Canevari, Kim Canevari, Joseph Canevari, Deborah Evans, Maria Chopko and Cara Dubas.
