He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Tonti; and his former wife Rita Rose Limongelli. He is survived by: his children, Maria Teresa West (Gordy) of Nicholson, Dean Anthony Tonti of Jessup and Judith Ann Granahan (Daniel) of Pittston Twp; his grandson Sean Michael Granahan; his children, Emilee Tressa West, Sarah Marianne Ache, Natalee Elizabeth West, Daniella Maria Granahan, Peter Gordon West III, Jacob Daniel Granahan, Jerome Michael Tonti of Dalton and Samantha Pearl Tonti; his great grandchildren, Gabriella and Adam Granahan; his brother William Tonti of Moosic Lake; and his close friend Wilma Roloson of Jessup.

Viewing will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferri & Gillette Funeral Services (522 Fallon St, Old Forge, PA 18518). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Parish (123 W Grace St, Old Forge, PA 18518). A committal service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Old Forge Cemetery Chapel (200-232 Smull St, Old Forge, PA 18518).
