It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet McCauley of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, born in Elkland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Walter and Jennie Margaret Button (Bollinger); her siblings, Eugene, Ralph, George, Robert, Joseph Button, Winifred Wolfred, Hilda Moshier and Kathryn Smith; and her close friend Evelyn Hakes.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Confair (Ron) of Jersey Shore, Terry Desnoyers (Marc) of Jupiter, FL, Tina Muthler (Terry Thomas) of Bellefonte, Penny Rogers (Mark Monson) of Union Grove, WI, Marlin McCauley (Becky) of Warrenton, VA and Maxine McDonald of Mill Hall; and her sisters, Maxine Collins (Bud) of Okeechobee, FL, Gertrude Rice (Van) of Jersey Shore, Geraldine Compton of Beavers Dam, NY and Sharon Noblit (Don) of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
