It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Y. Dowling of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other Stephen Dowling; her parents, Carl E. Stamm and Elsie R. Stamm (Flick); her son Carl J. Breen; her son-in-law Raymond Alexander; and her siblings, Robert Stamm, James Stamm, Carl Stamm, Helen Allison, Patricia Baker, Carol Gingerich and Phyllis Stamm.
She is survived by: her children, Debrorah K. Porter of Jersey Shore, Wanda M. Alexander of Jersey Shore, Kerry L. Bliler (Norman) of Oval, Tina L. Rogers (Fred) of Williamsport and James A. Dowling (Melissa) of Montoursville; and her siblings, Genevieve Rearick (Kenneth) of Jersey Shore, Linda Confer (Bill) of Jersey Shore, Janet Weaver (Ronald) of Middletown and Eddy Stamm (Susan) of Jersey Shore. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
