It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Haldeman of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Jane Murphy and Thomas Grand; her husband Bruce; her son Darrin; her siblings, Paul, Joseph Grand, Rebecca Wright, Naomi Carey and Sarah McGill; her sister-in-law Alberta Grand; her stepdaughter Mabel Haldeman Maggs; and her stepson-in-law Jack Maggs.
She is survived by: her sisters, Phebe Manotti of Mifflinburg, Elizabeth McCaulley (Glen) of Ohio, Rhoda Faust (Fred) of Baton Rouge, LA and Ester Stoffle (Edward) of Vienna, VA; her daughter Carroll Bower Edwards of Williamsport; and her stepson Ronald Haldeman (Linda) of Roaring Branch.
