It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Steinbacher of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran Engler and Gladys Stackhouse; her husband Albert L. Steinbacher Jr.; and her siblings, Dixie Orcutt, Jean Hoffman and Sonny Engler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri L. Wasson (Vern) of Jersey Shore and Elisa A. Howard (Bob) of Shippensburg; her grandchildren, Tyler Beaver (Emily), Collin Beaver (Felicia) and Logan Beaver (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Bryson, Rylee, Carleigh and Myleigh; her siblings, Jim Engler of Iowa and Judy Little of Pittsburgh; and her sisters-in-law, Diane E. Swarthout (Larry) of Jersey Shore and Debbie M. Sweitzer (Steve) of Jersey Shore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
