With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Evens (Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania), born in Avis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Williamson and Esther Williamson (Schlesinger); her children, Stephen E. Evens and Connie J. Miller; and her brother Earl M. Williamson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dwight E. Evens (Rhonda) of Savannah, GA, Arthur L. Evens (Anna) of Horseheads, NY, Gerald L. Evens (Rachel) of Elizabethtown and Paula S. Rogers (Frank) of Jersey Shore; and her sister Arlene Tubbs. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
