He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Showers and Ethel Gill; and his siblings, Edith, Harry, Jim, Bill and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Grace M. White; his brother Richard Showers; and his children, Timothy Showers (Kay) of Jersey Shore, Teresa Jacobs (Buck) of Castanea, Melanie Rauch (Guy) of Rauchtown and Elizabeth Moore (Chet) of Jersey Shore. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
